I was going through this website (Blog | Easy Light Healthcare), and decided to share a very important thoughts which I hope will be of benefits to many of us.
If you are anything like me, then the term ‘Post Covid Syndrome’ will make you run to your search engine to find out if this is a thing, or just a made-up word, and what are the symptoms. While its almost 3 years now that the world seems to have gradually slide back to some sort of “normality”, unfortunately some lives out there will never be the same again as a result of the lasting impact of the covid infections. Infact this is now medically defined as the ‘Long-Covid’. However, can all symptoms be diagnosed as Long-covid? or better still what is the difference between the Long covid symptoms and the Post-Covid syndrome?
A quick check with the NHS stated that “Emerging evidence and patient testimony is showing a growing number of people who contract COVID-19 cannot shake off the effects of the virus months after initially falling ill. Symptoms are wide-ranging and fluctuating, and can include breathlessness, chronic fatigue, “brain fog”, anxiety and stress.”

The pandemic was an earth-shattering moment that seemingly suspended time and left us with ourselves. Its impact was vast and was felt by everyone from children to the elderly. With this, I would like to channel the conversation to mental health, an important topic that affects each and every one of us. It would be nice to start a conversation and an exchange of kind words and your personal experiences with mental health and other challenges since Covid and the steps you’ve taken to combat this.
I would still advise that anyone with these symptoms or mental health challenges seek and consult with their local GP or family doctor. Additionally, alternative methods such as therapy, CBT, and counselling, which Easy Light Healthcare Services provide are available. Please remember that a healthy mind is a healthy body, and as always, peace, love, and kindness.

This is quite inspiring, and like you rightly said, Covid did impact our lives in different ways. Many are still finding their feet and struggling to accept the reality (whatever that is) on what is left for them to build on.
Some are too anxious to return to work or stay in a job and this is understandable. You don’t need to apologise to anyone, but the best thing you can do for yourself is to reach out and accept help when it is offered.
For those who lost their loved ones, we sincerely empathise with you, and we hope you are getting all the support you deserve.
You can reach out Easy Light Healthcare and they will be more than happy to support you.
It is great to know that this kind of services is out there for people to access. Well done!
oh yes indeed, covid was a very trying time. i think for me, it was a good thing that i work in a sector that did not grind to a halt, during the pandemic, so i was going to work through out that period. i believe this did my mental health a whole world of good, meaning i was not stuck at home or isolated. of course i adhered to all the medical advice, given at that time and thankfully did not catch covid. I hope that those who have long covid, would get better and live a more normal life
